Deep Security delivers scalable, manageable security for cloud and virtual environments
Trend Micro announced the availability of Trend Micro Deep Security in the Microsoft Azure Security Center. This integration provides customers with a single view of all Azure subscriptions, continuous workload monitoring capabilities and suggestions for remediating security issues. Additionally, Deep Security continues to deliver robust protection for Microsoft Azure cloud and data center customers with the simplicity of a single agent. This solution is easily scalable and provides continuous compliance without causing performance degradation. Trend Micro Deep Security has been recommended by Microsoft Corp. to help address vulnerabilities, allowing customers to directly deploy it from the Microsoft Azure Marketplace.
“Cybersecurity is a crucial challenge in India, as government agencies, corporations and individuals are continuously victimized by cyber attacks that are increasingly sophisticated and potent,” said Nilesh Jain, country manager for India and SAARC at Trend Micro. “India is an important region for Trend Micro, and we are committed to bringing the best solutions to our customers here. By embracing Azure, customers need manageable security solutions to protect workloads from malware and network attacks, as well as to achieve compliance by identifying security and configuration issues and addressing them quickly.”
“At Microsoft, we put trust and security at the core of everything we do. As a leader in cloud services, Microsoft has always enabled organizations to realize their full potential. Confidential data is the lifeblood of any company, and protecting it from compromise is mission-critical. Microsoft Azure enables organizations with the data security and privacy, control, and transparency that they require. We are happy to partner with Trend Micro as their cloud provider and we will continue to work with our partners to build relevant services by leveraging the tools and capabilities offered by the platform.”, said Harish Vaidyanathan, Director – ISV Business, Microsoft India.
Trend Micro Deep Security helps customers accomplish shared security responsibilities utilizing the most complete solutions set for Azure available today. Through this partnership, users receive benefits such as real-time malware detection and removal, and protection from known and unknown vulnerabilities like zero-days. The solution also delivers detection and alerts on suspicious or malicious activity, including integrity monitoring to maintain compliance with regulations spanning PCI DSS 3.1, HIPAA, etc.
“With direct availability from the Microsoft Azure Security Center, it has never been easier for customers to benefit from Deep Security, which remains the industry’s leading server security solution with the ability to scale in virtual and cloud environments without compromising performance or efficiency,” said Jain. “It also automates provisioning of workload-aware security for rapid protection of virtual machines from software vulnerabilities.”
