Knowlarity Raises Rs. 34crores Funds from Sequoia Capital
Aims to develop many innovative telephony based products for SMEs

Knowlarity has announced that it has raised Rs. 34crores in funding from Sequoia Capital. The two year old company, a Red Herring Asia award winner, has more than 40,000 Indian SME customers use its products and boasts enterprise clients such as MakeMyTrip, Glaxo Smith and Adani group etc.
The funding will be used to strengthen its R&D activities and expand marketing operations, to fuel growth. Further, after establishing its presence in India and Indonesia, Knowlarity now plans to extend to other international markets.
“SMEs in India are actively looking for the products we offer- SuperReceptionist – the hosted office PBX allows an SME to have PBX without having to buy messy hardware in the office and Superfax – a fax to email service allows an SME to receive faxes in email. Knowlarity taps into this market to develop many innovative, inexpensive and hosted telephony based business products that are aimed specifically at SMEs,” said Ambarish Gupta, co-founder, Knowlarity.
