The Idea Behind the Initiative

Schneider Electric has always had the philosophy of keeping its partners’ needs and problems as the top priority and provide support at each touch point with the end customers. This event was spe-cially organized for the partners and their sales & technical team, to provide technical knowledge on Schneider’s existing product lines and training for new products that the company has launched.

The two solutions which were the talk of the event were Edge Computing and Ecostruxure. Cloud Computing has revolutionized how people store and use their data. However, there are some areas where Cloud is limited. Latency, band-width, security, and a lack of offline access can be problematic.

To solve this problem, APC by Schneider Electric’s Edge Computing enables users to have a robust, secure and intelligent on-premise infra-structure. When data is physically located closer to the users who connect to it, information can be shared quickly, securely, and without latency. In financial services, gaming, healthcare and retail, low levels of latency are vital for a great customer digital experience. To improve reliability and faster response times, combine cloud with edge infrastructure from APC by Schneider Electric.

The EcoStruxure Architecture is designed to enable a consistent approach to create a connected world for customers and partners, which deliver value outcomes from the shop-floor to the top-floor.The architecture comprises an end-to-end cybersecurity platform with software, analytics and services solutions which can be deployed in either on-premise or on the cloud. In today’s dynamic business environment, interoperability is imperative to supporting the diverse hardware and system in building, data center, industry and grid end markets. EcoStruxure enables a breadth of agnostic applications, analytics and services for seamless enterprise integration.

The workshop provided a product demo zone which displayed Easy UPS Online, Back UPS, Smart UPS and Micro Data Centre. The part-ners appreciated this display as they were able to understand the product benefits and clear doubts from Schneider sales reps in order to provide better solutions to their customers.

MySchneider Partner Portal

There was also an experience zone where part-ners could firsthand experience and understand mySchneider Partner Portal and get a deeper understanding of accessibility of product informa-tion, training, business tools and configurators on the portal. MySchneider Partner Portal is a comprehensive portal designed especially for the benefit of the company’s partners. The portal con-sists of various product trainings, have webinars to develop individual soft skills, tools and services that helps in generating more business, various online events such as quiz, rewards program etc. to incentive the partners on their achievements. The partners have not only appreciated the qual-ity of content on the portal but they believe it has made the communication easier as well as more interactive.

Highlights of the Event

The main highlight of the event was extremely informative and interactive presentations given by various industry experts on different topics such Field Services, Ecostruxure, IT trends and Data center challenges, LEC configurators, Easy UPS, Schneider Rack Solutions and so much more! In the two days partners were provided with basket of information that will help them upskill their product knowledge and leverage product fea-tures to provide maximum satisfaction to their customers.

An exciting program called APC Champions Club Program was launched during the event. APC Champions is an exclusive program for the Partner’s Salesforce where they can earn reward points by selling the products to end markets. This program is specially designed for APC Champi-ons, the elite Sales Reps of the Elite & Premiere partners, where they will earn iRewards points on each sale made to the end consumer. APC Champions can further accumulate those iRewards which can be redeemed as PayTM Cash Reward or amazing gift options.

Jayalakshi Mahadevan, Channel & Alliance, Director, Schneider Electric, has been closely working with United Nations to spread awareness and promote HeforShe campaign. For this event she had a brilliant vision of celebrating equality in the partners’ workplace and encouraged them to share stories and pictures of how their company is promoting gender equality. She was overwhelmed by the responses she got from the partners and few selected pictures were showcased during the event in all the three cities.
