Edimax showcased its products at Convergence India 2016. Speaking to SME Channels Jason Yeo, Director, OBM BU, Edimax, said, “We are launching Edimax range of enterprise products here. In 2016-17, we have plan in India to expand into the enterprise market. Prior to this, we were always present in Soho and Retail market but now we are moving forward. We are going deeper telling our channel partners to do much more for them in terms of products and service support in order to push them to sell our enterprise range.”
He added, “Currently, for the enterprise rage, we are working with NCS Computech, who are working out of Kolkata and Mumbai. They have focus on our enterprise range of products compared to our Soho range.”
As per him currently till the half of 2016, Edimax would focus on the northern part of India and conduct a lot of roadshows and seminars for the partners to educate them not only on the products but also on the solutions because in enterprise WiFi one needs solutions not the products.
On the ground level, the company is trying to go closer with the customers to understand their requirements and passing on the information to the partners to come in and work for them.
