Pegasystems Unveils ‘Expert Circles’ in India

With over 50% of the world’s Pega developers based in India, the PegaInnovate in-person event is aimed at accelerating the future of autonomy through a community-centric approach while leaning into the new Expert Circle ongoing engagement opportunities

Pegasystems Inc. , an Enterprise Transformation Company, today announced the launch of Expert Circles at its flagship developer event, PegaInnovate 2025. Expert Circles is a dedicated initiative to strengthen the rapidly growing Pega developer ecosystem, in which India is the largest ecosystem in the world. As more organisations embrace low-code platforms and intelligent automation to fast-track their autonomous enterprise goals, the demand for Pega developers is rising steadily across global tech majors. This initiative is designed to strengthen community engagement and offer developers direct, hands-on learning opportunities.

The launch of Expert Circles meet-up sessions will be hosted for Pega developers and builders across India to enable them to connect, collaborate, and grow alongside Pega’s experts. These India based meetups are the launchpad for Pega’sglobal Groundbreaker and Expert Circle engagement plan. This is thekickoff of the broader global initiative announced at PegaWorld 2025, aimed at enriching the Pega Developer Community through shared learning and recognition. The India rollout, spanning Hyderabad and Bengaluru, comes at a time when more than half of the world’s Pega developers reside in the country.

“Through Expert Circles, we want to create an environment where developers from client and partner organisations can learn directly from Pega’s subject matter experts, stay updated on our platform innovations, and most importantly, get recognised for their expertise.”

– Deepak Visweswaraiah, senior vice president & managing director, Pegasystems India

The Expert Circles will kick off in India by inviting individuals to in-person casual meetups with Pega experts, hostedat Pega’s India Global Capability Centers (GCCs), with a cap of 50 participants per session. Each session is structured to include curated topic discussions, such as Pega’s marquee technologies like Blueprint, App Design or User Experience, followed by live demos and Q&A with developers who work with Pega technologies daily.

Beyond technical enablement, the initiative aims to foster a feedback loop between Pega’s internal teams and the developer community. Further, it will facilitate peer learning to fast-track onboarding, boost career growth, and address real-world enterprise transformation using AI-powered platforms like Pega Infinity. This comes at the back of Pega’s vision towards creating fully autonomous enterprises led by Pega technologies and achieving this mission from the ground up.

While the initiative is currently focused on Pega developers, it indirectly strengthens the industry at large by deepening the scale of skilled automation and transformation talent. By fostering practical knowledge-sharing and career visibility, Pega’s Expert Circles are helping solve one of the most urgent challenges in the Indian tech landscape, that of bridging the gap between platform fluency and real-world implementation.

“Expert Circles are as much about learning from our developers about what works, what doesn’t, and what they need as they are about showing them what’s new.”

– Don Schuerman, chief technology officer and vice president of product strategy & marketing, Pegasystems

India: the heartbeat of the Pega developer ecosystem

“India is the heartbeat of the Pega developer ecosystem,” said Deepak Visweswaraiah, senior vice president & managing director, Pegasystems India. “Through Expert Circles, we want to create an environment where developers from client and partner organisations can learn directly from Pega’s subject matter experts, stay updated on our platform innovations, and most importantly, get recognised for their expertise.”

“We want to listen as much as we share,” said Don Schuerman, chief technology officer and vice president of product strategy & marketing, Pegasystems. “Expert Circles are as much about learning from our developers about what works, what doesn’t, and what they need as they are about showing them what’s new.”
