Edited excerpts…

In a short span of time, CoSoSys has emerged as a leader in DLP Solutions with several tie-ups in BFSI, tech, and health sectors in India. What are the factors  behind this spectacular growth story?

Our product vision is focused on the Indian market, focused and devoted channel partners, and awareness campaigns.

Where does India figure in your overall global business strategy?

India is one of our top growth markets, and we are continuously investing in the region’s growth. This year we had our first hire in India, we have dedicated channel partners and started focusing on local events.

Are you going to launch any new DLP solutions tailor-made for the Indian Market?

We are always considering the feedback that we receive from our customers and partners from India, and we try to add many items to the product roadmap.

How CoSoSys can help address the complex data security challenges of Indian  enterprises.

EPP offers cross-platform DLP, many Indian organizations use multiple OS’; predefined Indian PIIs (Pan card number, Aadhar number, etc.)

What are your plans to penetrate Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities in India?

We are currently enabling partners in all the regions across India, our goal is to help as many companies as possible protect their data

Are you planning any major investments to strengthen and expand your channel  partner network?

Our channel is one of our most valuable assets, and we are continuously investing in enabling and nurturing our relationship with the channel through frequent training, joined GTM activities, funds, etc.

How does CoSoSys upskill its partners? What sort of training & awareness  programs do you run?

Besides the initial onboarding phase, where we run our partners through commercial and technical training, we offer multiple training sessions per year where we educate the partners on the latest product offerings, sales, and commercial updates, and improvement areas; we consider our channel partners to be our extended team on the ground, so they benefit from the same training our team does

What’s your geo-spread? How many Partners do you have in India?

CoSoSys follows a 2-tiered Channel model in India, and through our Distributors, we work with a large number of active channel partners spread all across India

In view of the Indian Government withdrawing the Personal Data Protection Bill,  2021 and intending to introduce a new bill that fits into the comprehensive legal  framework, how would this impact the cybersecurity landscape?

While the PDP had a general and wider scope, the new law is predicted to have specific legislation for each aspect of the digital technology space, which can be a good thing, giving the companies a much clearer direction on their path to compliance
