As a security pioneer, what major customer and partner trends do you foresee in the market?
The cybersecurity market is growing rapidly across the globe, driven by the rise in the number and sophistication of cyber threats and targeted attacks. Customers are increasing their cybersecurity spending and embracing Zero-trust security, replacing the earlier perimeter-based security. With cyberthreats becoming more sophisticated and getting delivered at unprecedented speed and scale, organizations are demanding a comprehensive, future-proof integrated SIEM, SOAR, UEBA, and Data Pipeline Solution. Traditional AI solutions that are task-specific, reactive, and follow pre-defined rules and machine learning algorithms will get replaced by Agentic AI systems that represent a network of intelligent agents having the capability for autonomous decision making and adoption of proactive security measures.
Due to rapid digitalization and expansion of the threat attack surface, India is facing a growing need for scalable AI-reinforced cybersecurity solutions particularly in tier 2 and tier 3 markets. SMEs that often lack the budget and expertise for strong cybersecurity frameworks are exploring affordable yet robust cybersecurity solutions.
India’s regulatory compliance landscape has evolved to address digital transformation, cybersecurity challenges, and the need for customer data protection. Mandates such as CERT-In Directives and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) requires stringent security measures. Regulatory bodies like TRAI, RBI, and IRDA are driving organizations to implement solutions that meet compliance requirements. We at Securonix are aligning our offering to help customers and comply with these regulations.
What are your future plans vis-a-vis the India Market?
India is on the cusp of a major cybersecurity transformation, and Securonix is fully committed to being part of this journey. Moreover, India is not only a market for us, but it is also our strategic innovation hub. 70% of our global workforce is based here, where our R&D centers in Pune and Bangalore are delivering our core product innovation. We also see high levels of customer maturing in India, which makes it an ideal place to pilot innovations before scaling them globally. Securonix recognizes the diverse requirements of India, especially in the tier 2 and tier 3 cities. We aim to penetrate deeper here through strategic partnerships with MSSPs, system integrators, two-tier distributors, and technology partners like AWS and Snowflake. We are also strengthening our channel ecosystem by onboarding and training more local partners. Securonix will continue to innovate in India and invest in people and partnerships while delivering outcomes for not only organizations but for the larger security ecosystem in the country and beyond.
