Eaton appoints Debasish Banerji as Director, Sales and Service, Power Quality Division, India

Eaton’s Electrical Sector strengthens its leadership team in India with the appointment of Debasish Banerji as Director – Sales & Services for its Power Quality line of business which constitutes 1PH & 3PH UPS products and systems, Software, and services.

In his new role, Debasish will be responsible for leading the Power Quality (UPS) Sales & Services business for India . He will drive strategies for Digitalization, Energy transition and growth initiatives needed to achieve the business goals for India.

“Debashish brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team. I am confident that he will excel in his new role and will drive the business to greater heights while continuing to strengthen our customer relationships”, said Syed Sajjadh Ali, MD- Eaton Electrical Sector India.

Prior to this role, Debasish was working with Hewlett Packard Inc for 7 plus years. In his last assignment, Debasish was driving the Personal Systems Services business for Worldwide & APJ region. He has led Managed Print Services business for HP India, including sales, category & service delivery functions. In his tenure, he executed numerous initiatives to ensure MPS profitability & business turn around. He had successfully turned around the Enterprise business in his early days in HPI.

Prior to HP, he has 20+ years at businesses including IBM, American Power Conversion (Schneider Electric) & Kodak in numerous roles including regional roles leading APAC, Middle East & Latin America region in IBM & APAC Product Marketing Manager for APC.  He has rich experience in running enterprise, channel & services business managing multi-million-dollar complex businesses across multiple businesses & geographies.  He has deep expertise in channel & distribution business across the region and India. He was voted as one of the Top 5 channel managers in India. He has successfully turned around many businesses across APC, IBM & HPI.
