JETSYNTHESYS BOLSTERS ITS CORE LEADERSHIP TEAM; APPOINTS INDUSTRY VETERANS

JetSynthesys, announces three key hires to strengthen their core leadership team which comprises Rajan Navani and Kris Gopalakrishnan amongst others.

Talking about the three major appointments, Mr. Rajan Navani, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, JetSynthesys said, “Rohit, Chandresh, and Nilanjan bring a wealth of knowledge and multiplatform experience across markets and will work with me to front business opportunities for JetSynthesys globally. We welcome them to the Jet family and look forward to this exciting journey with them.”

With over three decades of experience in business leadership, Nilanjan Mukerjee joins JetSynthesys as the Deputy CEO. Mukherjee brings deep consumer insights with knowledge of analytical science resulting in business opportunity and growth. He joins JetSynthesys from large conglomerates like Airtel, Reliance, Wipro, and Aditya Birla Group in various leadership capacities like the Chief Operating officer and Chief Marketing Officer. Mukherjee has also launched cellular mobile services in India, created one of India’s most memorable consumer brand Idea Cellular as well as launched India’s first 3G services in Reliance.

On his new role, Nilanjan Mukherjee, Deputy CEO, JetSynthesys, said, “I am excited to be at JetSynthesys at such an opportune time for the industry, and play a role in the transformation journey. I look forward to draw from my prior experience and knowledge, and work with the team to take the business to the next level.”

Further, in order to strengthen the gaming, esports and entertainment division of JetSynthesys, the company has appointed Rohit Potphode as the President – Global Partnerships & Esports. Rohit comes with a rich experience of over 18 years in building, scaling, and sustaining innovative revenue models via brands, agencies and publisher partnerships.

Rohit joined JetSynthesys from A+E Networks (A Walt Disney & Hearst company), a US based global media and entertainment brand, where he was leading advertising sales and digital partnerships. Being a passionate gamer, he has spearheaded many esports and entertainment IPs in the APAC region, especially in SEA, Japan and Korea with active-passive involvement in the Indian subcontinent. Prior to this, Rohit has worked with companies like IMG, Viacom Inc, Star TV, and Ten Sports, amongst other illustrious brands.

Rohit Potphode, President – Global Partnerships & Esports, JetSynthesys said, “I’ve been a gamer and an esports evangelist for a long time now. Having played avidly in my younger days and casually now, I recognise the rush of the sport. That coupled with my exposure to the business side of gaming and esports, makes this profile such a compelling and exciting endeavour. Lastly, Chandresh Sampat joins the bandwagon of the senior leadership team at JetSynthesys as the Sr. Vice President of Corporate Development. Sampat brings with him over 23 years of experience across manufacturing, retail, luxury, and in venture capital. In a nutshell, he has led more than 65 deals aggregating to over 1500 Cr across both traditional and consumer-tech sectors. He knows it all when it comes to business planning, management, strategic planning, business development, and investment management. Prior to this, Chandresh spearheaded Springboard for Brand Capital – Bennett, Coleman & Co Ltd and has also served as the General Manager for the company.
