Rapoo follows a philosophy of being “smarter, not flashier.” How does this translate into real productivity gains in hybrid work environments?

For us, productivity starts with ease of use and seamless performance, not complex features. When a device connects instantly, stays stable, and works the same way every day, users stop thinking about the hardware and focus on their work. We have seen that serious and enthusiast users feel more connected to their machines when the technology responds naturally – without lag, interruptions, or constant charging concerns. That comfort and reliability directly improve efficiency, especially in hybrid work where switching environments is frequent.

With your 2026 vision of clutter-free, wireless-first desktops, what changes do you foresee in how professionals design their workspaces in India and the SAARC region?

In 2026, workspaces will become more aspirational yet practical. Professionals will invest in cleaner, wireless setups that support both work and personal use from the same desk. In India and the SAARC region, we see growing demand from home professionals, SMEs, and enterprises who want setups that look good, save space, and remain easy to maintain. The focus will shift from owning many devices to owning the right ones that integrate well and adapt to different work styles.

Multi-device connectivity and intuitive customization are key R&D priorities for Rapoo. What user insights drive this focus?

The biggest frustrations we see today are frequent device switching, unstable wireless connections, lag, and battery anxiety. Users work across laptops, desktops, and tablets, and they expect smooth transitions without reconnecting or reconfiguring devices repeatedly. These real-world behaviours have strongly influenced our R&D focus, making connectivity more stable, switching more intuitive, and power usage more efficient, so users can rely on their devices throughout the day.

As Rapoo expands into video conferencing and PC headphones, how will you differentiate in a crowded market?

Our differentiation will come from value-for-money without compromise. Many enterprise solutions are either expensive or overly complex, while local alternatives often lack consistency. Rapoo positions itself between these extremes, offering dependable performance, easy deployment, and strong after-sales support at accessible pricing. We aim to compete confidently with both global and local brands by delivering products that are practical, scalable, and suited to real workplace needs.

AI in peripherals is often over-engineered. How does Rapoo keep AI practical and user-friendly?

We believe AI should enhance readiness for the future, not complicate the present. Rapoo approaches AI in a subtle and optional way, allowing users to integrate it through software and customization rather than forcing hardware changes. The idea is simple, AI should work seamlessly in the background and remain fully under user control. If it doesn’t add clear value or convenience, it doesn’t belong in the product.

How do durability and longer product lifecycles align with commercial growth in price-sensitive markets like India?

In price-sensitive markets, durability is not a cost – it is a value multiplier. Rapoo avoids planned obsolescence and focuses on strong R&D and quality control to deliver products that last longer. When users trust a brand for reliability, they return and recommend it. Long product lifecycles reduce replacement costs for customers and build long-term brand loyalty, which ultimately drives sustainable growth.

Rapoo emphasizes usage-first innovation. How do you ensure users fully leverage advanced capabilities?

Owning advanced features is not enough, users need to understand and apply them. That is why Rapoo is investing heavily in usage-focused communication. Sales partners play a key role in explaining benefits at the point of purchase, while content-driven education helps users unlock full potential post-purchase. Our goal is to shift conversations from specifications to real usage benefits.

As a regional leader, what challenges and opportunities do you see in wireless peripherals and hybrid work adoption?

The biggest challenges today are price pressure and lack of awareness around what modern peripherals can actually do. However, the opportunity is even bigger. Hybrid work is becoming normal, and a younger workforce wants products they connect with, not just tools they tolerate. Brands that balance performance, design, and emotional connection will define the next phase of growth in this region.

Why Rapoo Stands Out:

  • Usage-first innovation: Focus on real-world productivity through better polling rates, DPI utilisation, and intuitive software
  • Hybrid-work ready: Seamless multi-device connectivity across work and personal environments
  • Thoughtful AI integration: Customisable controls that allow users to choose how AI fits into their workflow
  • Expanding categories: Strong focus on video conferencing solutions and PC headphones
  • Sustainability-driven: Emphasis on durability, responsible manufacturing, and reduced e-waste
