SME Channels Covid19 Superhero Technology Summit & Awards Concluded with a Great Learning

One of its firsts in the Industry events for the Indian IT channel ecosystem, SME Channels Covid19 Superhero Technology Summit & Awards turned out to be a great melting pot for the thought leadership and Learning.

Attended by 250 Plus partners and owners of various domestic IT companies, this event was addressed by the senior channel leadership of OEMs including LogMeIn’s, TeamViewer, IBM, Veeam Software, SonicWall, Red Hat India and Dell Technologies India. The event was graced by Dr. Triveni Singh, Superintendent of Police- Cyber Crime, IPS Officer, Uttar Pradesh Police was Chief Guest.

The purpose of SME Channels Covid19 Superhero Technology Summit & Awards was to bring together the entire partner ecosystem to stand together and find way forward and negate the economic impact of the pandemic on the IT business.

When the Dr. Triveni Singh, Superintendent of Police- Cyber Crime, IPS Officer, Uttar Pradesh Police spoke about the growing cyber security threats on the consumers and Mathew Philip, Senior Director, LogMeIn had elaborated on the WFH and collaboration with security and business growth of the partners. At the same time Krunal Patel, Director, TeamViewer highlighted on the remote workplace challenges and opportunity for the partners.

On the other hand, Sanjay Kathuria, Channels Sales leader for Public Cloud, IBM spoke about Scaling up business with IBM Cloud and Amarish Karnik, Director – Channel Sales, Alliance – India & SAAR, Veeam Software addressed on Data Availability for the Multi Cloud Environment.

Debasish Mukherjee, Vice President, Regional Sales APAC, SonicWall Inc. enumerated on the overall security environment and how companies including Indigo are using their solution and therefore safety and security is maintained.

The icing on the cake of the event was high voltage Channel Chats with thee emanate leaders including Lata Singh, Director, One Channel, IBM India/ South Asia who spoke on next wave of business opportunity for partners which covered cloud, cognitive, AI and IOT. Neeraj Bhatia, Director Commercial & Partner Sales, Red Hat India / SAARC, spoke about Partner Opportunity with opensource software and building capacity and capability around new age applications and tools of Kubernetes and container technology. Anil Sethi, VP & GM, Channels, Dell Technologies India enumerated about his optimism about partners’ growth, financial challenges that the partners facing and mitigation plan, technology roadmap, etc.

The lone panel discussion among the senior members of the ecosystems on Shifting priorities, WFH and Strategies Post Covid-19 by Jiten Mehta, Director, Magnamious Systems, Ranjan Chopra, Managing Director, Team Computers, Jb Hooda, Director, Progression Infonet, L. Ashok, Founder & CEO, Futurenet Technologies (India) Pvt. ltd., Biren shah, managing director, Adit Microsys Pvt. Ltd., Sailajanandan Nayak (SN), DGM Marketing (CMO), Ingram Micro India took the content into a different level and they discussed about the new normal, work from home and post Covid situation, etc.

The X Factor of the event was the musical treatment from Prasenjit Mukherjee, CMO, Team Computers.

The happiest movement came when in the end, more than 150 IT organizations including Partners and OEMs received awards of Covid19 Superhero Technology Summit & Awards for their super performance during the lockdown.

The event was supported by LogMeIn as presenting partner, Veeam and TeamViewer were gold partners, SonicWall was the Silver Partner, Dell Technoloiges as Digital Transformation partner, Red Hat as Open Source Software Partner, CtrlS and Cloud4C were the Data Center Partners, and Redington and IBM were the Technology partners.
